From the ermine to the moose

the mammals of Utah range from the timid to the fierce. Photographing these amazing animals is

more about beauty, strength, fragility and wonder than images. Waiting for hours on a hill for a mountain goat to jump across the rocks or

a shiras moose to cooperate with a striking pose is all part of the experience. The mystical call of the elk to the

charm of the weasel is better experienced with the crisp morning air than the clank of the keyboard. If only we could

spend more time in their world, maybe ours would be better. Until then, please enjoy my view into the places we all should

admire.
